ProLine Electric Inc. is a family owned and operated company that has been in business for over 25 years specializing in commercial, industrial, and design/build electrical work. Before incorporation ProLine Electric, Inc. operated as Professional Electric Service but had to change names when the incorporation paperwork was filed with the State of Ohio in 1997.
The company also completes projects which include industrial/commercial generators, fire alarm systems, security systems, closed circuit television systems, data and telecom systems, and nurse’s call systems. Water and wastewater treatment plant work and public work incorporates a large part of ProLine Electric, Inc.’s projects.
Michael Shafer
Owner and President of ProLine Electric Inc., has over 50 years of experience in the electrical field. His past duties have included journeyman electrician, project superintendent, project manager, project estimator, and health and safety director. Mr. Shafer holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Franklin University. He also served in the United States Navy as an electrician and is a Vietnam War Veteran having completed (2) tours.
Nathan Shafer, PE
Vice President, has been with the company full time for (15) years, he was previously employed with Korda Nemeth Engineering as a project engineer for (3) years before returning to the family business. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Ohio University. He is also a registered Professional Engineer in the State of Ohio.
Michelle Shafer-Hampson
Secretary/Treasurer, has been with the company for 20 years. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and a Bachelor of Science in Communication from Ohio University. Prior to joining the family business, Michelle worked in the banking industry for (4) years.
ProLine Electric Inc. is a member of IEC of Central Ohio. All apprentices are enrolled in apprenticeship school at IEC of Central Ohio and all of our journeymen electricians are certified journeyman electricians.
